PSP-MIDI - PSP 1000/2000/3000 USB MIDI Adapter for CFW PSP's
PSP-MIDI is a MIDI adapter for the Sony PSP. The PSP's USB port can only act as a device, so no computer or interface can talk MIDI to it directly. This adapter is the missing USB host: connect it to the PSP, run a synthesizer app, and the PSP is a sound module for a DAW or for hardware MIDI gear.
Adapter must be powered through it's USB-C port, can use your computer, a wall wart or a battery bank. PC USB may introduce noise so TRS MIDI is preferred while powered off a battery bank for clean results.

- Firmware pre-installed, recovers on its own from cable replugs and connection faults
Requirements: PSP 1000, 2000 or 3000 with custom firmware and a synthesizer app. The PSP Go has no compatible USB port and is not supported. Powered by the computer's USB port or any USB power supply.
Software: PSPOLY, a 10 voice 4 part multitimbral synthesizer, is the $1 instrument for the adapter.
