After 2 years, over 700 five-star reviews, and Star Seller status nearly the entire time, Etsy has decided that the items I sell are prohibited on their platform meaning they no longer want to offer them or allow me to sell through Etsy. This includes all my chiptune gear that I hand-make, and it also includes any homebrew games to support homebrew game developers. Whether this was a false infringement attack or a bug in the system Etsy is firm that they have reviewed my account and would like to part ways with me and customers of my products.
So… I built my own store instead! And seriously it was about time anyway.
Same chiptune inspired merch, handmade gear, homebrew, and retro goodness... just now living on my own site, free from Etsy’s limitations.
Thank you all so much for your support over the years, every order, message, and review helped shape HobbyChop into what it is today.
