PRISM for PS Vita
PRISM is a sound module for the PS Vita. It plays SoundFont banks as a sixteen part General MIDI module, and with your own MT-32 ROM images it emulates the Roland MT-32. MIDI comes in over USB from the PSP-MIDI adapter.
The software is free. Download the current release at:
https://github.com/HobbyChop/prism/releases
Requirements:
- A PS Vita or PS TV with HENkaku or h-encore and unsafe homebrew enabled
- The PSP-MIDI adapter
- For MT-32 mode, your own MT-32 or CM-32L ROM images. They are not included.
What it does:
- Sixteen parts, each with its own channel, patch, level, pan, filter, envelope, key range and transpose
- The GeneralUser GS bank built in, and your own SoundFont files from the memory card
- Reverb, chorus, a three band EQ and a limiter
- MT-32 emulation through Munt, running on all three cores
- Saved states, USB reconnect, and an adjustable audio latency
The source code is in the same repository.
