Chord 1.1.0, Game Boy MIDI compatible monophonic synth
This latest version (v1.1.0) is a big step up from v1.0.6, offering full MIDI synth support in Arduinoboy mGB mode. It transforms Chord into a powerful, monophonic synth program designed for the original Nintendo Gameboy, now MIDI-enabled to play like a true instrument!
Create Rich Chords and Melodies:
With Chord, you can build "chords" of up to five notes, layering them over the pulse wave channel with full control over sound register settings. The new MIDI integration allows you to send notes directly to Chord for seamless playback, either with internal arpeggiation settings or MIDI clock timing. Just connect it to an Arduinoboy (available in my shop) to start creating!
Key Features:
Monophonic Synth with MIDI Support: Play chords as MIDI-synced arpeggios for a unique, vintage sound.
Flexible Timing Options: Use either Chord’s internal timing settings or sync to an external MIDI clock.
Custom Control Over Sound Registers: Shape the sound exactly how you want it, from classic Gameboy tones to complex chiptune textures.
Options & Compatibility:
This cartridge has been customized with permission from the creator and comes in a custom translucent shell with the official mGB label.
